Jaclyn Hill with Becca tutorial

Hey Y'all! This weekend I was feeling the end of summer vibes and nothing says summer to me like a warm, minimal makeup look. So, I decided to sit down and try my hand at filming a makeup tutorial.

I've watched beauty gurus and makeup tutorials on Youtube since I started college and I've always wanted to film a beauty video but I never felt qualified to do so because I've never worked at MAC or Sephora, or really had any "training" other than Youtube videos. Then I realized... I don't have to be qualified, makeup doesn't have rules and like I've said: I want to share the things I love with the ones I love and I LOVE makeup.

Jaclyn Hill is one of my favorite beauty Youtubers out there. She is lovely and oh so talented. I would suggest that if you actually want to learn something, to go over to her youtube channel and get sucked in to the awesome! I say all this because this video is centered around Jaclyn Hill's collaboration with Becca Cosmetics. This summer she came out with a whole family around champagne pop (her first highlighter collaboration) and it is STUNNING. This new collection includes a new highlighter as well as a couple blush colors she helped com up with. The face pallet is limited edition but I think Becca Cosmetics added the highlight color "Champagne Pop" to their permanent collection of highlighters. This collection also has split pans of highlighter and blush incase you can't justify just getting one of her highlighters (which, if you need help justifying any make up purchase... I'm here for you)

This face makeup pallet makes me want summer to stick around just a smidge longer because I'm not ready to replace minimal make up with vampy colors - did I just say that? who am I? But like I said, makeup doesn't have rules so you will likely see me in October with a blinding highlight and minimal colors!

I really hope that you enjoy this "Jaclyn Hill/Becca Champagne Pop Everyday Makeup Tutorial." I had so much fun making it. I listed all the products I used below, along with where you can find them. Let me know if you have any suggestions on videos or posts that you'd like to see.
